One person has died, and two firefighters were injured after a home caught fire in Monongahela, Washington County. The Monongahela Fire Department said on Facebook that at 11:45 p.m., they were on the scene working to contain a fully involved structure fire on Warne Street Extension, located off Route 88, Cemetary Hill. Pittsburgh's Action News 4 later arrived in the area, where multiple fire trucks blocked part of the road to traffic. (Watch video in the playfinder above) The Charleroi Fire Department also shared photos of the home completely engulfed in flames. Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said in a release that Linda Pankiewicz, 75, died in the fire. Warco said a passerby reported the flames to dispatchers and that the residence was believed to be vacant.
