1 dead, 2 injured after pursuit following hit-and-run involving Howard County police cruiser

A man was killed and two others were injured after a vehicle that struck a parked Howard County, Maryland, police cruiser crashed following a police pursuit in Jessup early Sunday morning. Howard County police said a 2018 Infiniti Q60 hit an occupied, parked police vehicle in the 7100 block of Montevideo Road at about 2:17 a.m. The driver fled the scene and was pursued by the officer. About a mile away, the Infiniti crashed into a retaining wall. One adult male was pronounced dead at the scene.
