1 dead, 3 teens hospitalized after vehicle fleeing during parking lot takeover crashes in north Houston

A 24-year-old man is dead, and three teenagers, including two girls, have been hospitalized after their vehicle crashed while fleeing from Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies in north Houston late Sunday night. According to HCSO, deputies received a call around 11 p.m. about a parking lot takeover in the Veterans Memorial and FM 1960 area. Witnesses reported vehicles doing donuts and speeding through the parking lot, with passengers reportedly sitting on the doors of some of the vehicles. Data centers are coming to Texas.
