1 dead, 4 teens wounded in targeted Yonkers shooting; 15-year-old suspect in custody
YONKERS (WABC) -- A 20-year-old man was killed and four teenagers were wounded in a shooting in Yonkers on Sunday night, according to police. The shooting happened at approximately 8:45 p.m. in the area of Elm Street and Palisade Avenue. Police said five people were struck by gunfire. A 20-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was pronounced dead. The four surviving victims, ages 16, 15, 15 and 14, were also shot and remain hospitalized in critical but stable condition, investigators said.
