FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)-- The coroner's office responded to a crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Franklin County on Tuesday, according to Pennsylvania State Police. State Police said troopers responded to a fatal crash on the Pennsylvania Turnpike near Mile Marker 196.5 in Fannett Township, Franklin County. A vehicle drove off the right side of the roadway, entered an embankment, and struck a tree at 5:20 a.m. State Police said the cause of the crash is unknown. The driver of the vehicle was determined to be deceased.
