1 hospitalized after hazardous materials incident at San Francisco golf course

A hazardous materials incident involving muriatic acid and chlorine was reported Friday at a golf course in San Francisco’s Presidio, sending one person to a hospital. Fire crews and hazardous materials units were at the Presidio Golf & Concordia Golf Course assessing the situation and working to identify potential hazards, according to the San Francisco Fire Department. The department urged residents and businesses in the immediate area to avoid the scene and follow directions from emergency personnel. “One person has been transported to a hospital due to this incident,” the department said.
