1 killed, 4 injured in Hartford shooting early Sunday, police say

HARTFORD — One person was killed and four others were injured in a shooting that broke out in Hartford early Sunday morning, police said. Aaron Boisvert said the victim who received fatal injuries was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. He said four other people who reported to also be injured in the shooting arrived at area hospitals after. Cops responded to a ShotSpotter notification in the 700 block of Wethersfield Avenue around 1:40 a.m., Boisvert said. A large crowd was located at the scene and the person who died was found unresponsive.
