ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — One person is dead following a crash Sunday afternoon in DeKalb County, according to police. Officers responded around 2 p.m. to the intersection of Covington Highway and Lithonia West Drive. A preliminary investigation indicates a sedan struck an SUV, causing the sedan to overturn multiple times. The driver of the sedan was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity pending notification of next of kin.
