INDIANAPOLIS — A person was taken into custody for their alleged role in a shooting that injured a man on the north side of Indianapolis early Thursday morning. IMPD said officers responded to a report of a person cut in the 9000 block of Wesleyan Road , near Michigan Road and Interstate 465, around 2 a.m. When officers arrived on scene, they said they found a man shot. His condition was described as "stable." IMPD said detectives are still working to determine the person who was taken into custody's involvement, if any, in the incident.
