10-year-old Enumclaw boy recovering after injury in first football game triggers community support

Mac Reynolds, a fifth grader at Sunrise Elementary, was playing cornerback for the Enumclaw Jr. Hornets on Saturday when the injury happened during the fourth quarter at Enumclaw Stadium, also known as Pete's Pool. Video captured the play as Mac moved in to make a tackle. “It was a handoff to the running back; he ran to my side, the guy that was supposed to tackle him got let off – I went for the tackle, he stiff-armed me, I did a roll, and then I tried to get back up on my neck, and I just collapsed,” Mac said.
