11 arrested, 1 wanted in fatal shooting of Claiborne County deputy
CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WLBT) - Twelve people have been arrested following the fatal shooting of Claiborne County Deputy Terran Bailey, according to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety. Deputy Bailey was attempting to disperse a large crowd during the early morning hours of Sept. 7 when he was shot. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Each of the 12 individuals taken into custody faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and conspiracy to commit murder: Authorities were searching for Butler, who is wanted on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
