12 suspects denied bond in Claiborne County deputy’s death

CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) - The 12 suspects, who were charged in connection to the death of Claiborne County Deputy Terrian Bailey, appeared in court on September 22, 2026. During their court appearance, all 12 suspects were denied bond. Investigators said Bailey was attempting to disperse a large crowd during the early morning hours of September 7, 2026, when he was shot and pronounced dead later at the hospital. The following individuals were arrested and charged with first-degree murder, aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit murder: This investigation remains ongoing.
