LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A 14-year-old boy was critically injured after being struck by a pickup truck while crossing Boulder Highway on Wednesday, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The crash happened around 4:07 p.m. in the 6600 block of Boulder Highway, near Russell Road, police said. MORE ON FOX5: LVMPD: Suspect in custody after barricade near Alta, Pavilion Center According to LVMPD, the pedestrian was crossing Boulder Highway from east to west in a marked crosswalk north of South Broadbent Boulevard. A 2022 Ram 1500 was traveling northbound on Boulder Highway in the left lane of three, approaching the crosswalk, police said. Police said the pedestrian entered the path of the Ram, and the right front of the truck struck the left side of the pedestrian.
