One of three teens accused of an attempted robbery that ended with the death of 35-year-old David Krause has been charged as an adult in connection with the killing, according to a criminal complaint filed July 30. Tyler, 16, is charged with three felonies: murder, operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent and arson of property other than a building. If convicted on all counts, Tyler faces up to 42 years in prison and $20,000 in fines. Three boys were charged in Krause's shooting – Tyler, who was 16 at the time of the incident, one who was 14 and one who was 15. Prosecutors unsuccessfully sought to waive one teenager into adult court earlier in July.
