16-year-old dies after collapsing on soccer field: ‘He will be forever missed’

ATLANTA ( ANF /Gray News) - Family and friends are mourning the loss of a 16-year-old high school student from Georgia who collapsed while playing soccer and later died. Bairon Candido Ramos Vicente, 16, passed out on the soccer field Friday and later died, according to a GoFundMe set up to help his family with funeral and hospital expenses. “Bairon passed away doing what he loved and being with his friends,” the fundraiser said. “He never really was the type to talk much, but he always managed to put a smile on everyone’s face, and he will be forever missed.” Bairon was a junior at Rome High School. His cause of death has not been released. Rome City Schools told Telemundo Atlanta that the incident didn’t happen on school grounds was not related to the high school. “Rome City Schools is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of a Rome High School student.
