17-year-old boy shot, 7-year-old child hit by car in incident near Forney, police say

The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a statement to WFAA that is investigating a reported shooting that occurred at about 8 p.m. in the Arbordale Village area near the intersection of Clear Dusk Lane and Box Elder Road north east of Forney. According to KCSO, the two victims are a 17-year-old boy and a 7-year-old child. The 17-year-old was reportedly shot, while the child was hit by a car.
