17 year-old who was subject of San Antonio AMBER Alert found dead, SAPD says

A missing teenager, previously subject of a discontinued AMBER Alert, was found dead last week on the North Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department. SAPD said Darian Alexandre Rangel , 17, was found dead Friday around 7:50 p.m. with gunshot wounds in a field of grass near Wurzbach Parkway and Vista Del Norte. Rangel’s death is connected with the decomposed body found with gunshot wounds on Saturday, according to SAPD. Rangel’s AMBER Alert was discontinued Sunday by the Texas Department of Public Safety. On Monday, Rangel’s death was ruled a homicide by a medical examiner.
