An 18-year-old Five Guys employee is fighting for his life after being struck by a stray bullet while on break inside the restaurant during an outside altercation between three individuals.The incident happened on Friday, August 28, just before 8:30 p.m. at the Five Guys Burgers restaurant located in the 2700 block of Portico Way at The Collection, according to police. At the scene, officers located the victim, Jonathan Vasquez Jr., suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit. An investigation revealed Vasquez was on break inside the restaurant when he was shot; he was not the intended target of the shooting. According to police, a 16-year-old suspect and two unidentified individuals were fighting outside when the shooting happened.
