Two people were killed and nine others were wounded after a shooting broke out during a neighborhood gathering in Trenton early Sunday, prompting a large police response and an ongoing homicide investigation. Authorities said officers were dispatched shortly after midnight to the city’s Locust Street area, where they discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds, ABC News said . Police said the shooting occurred around 12:25 a.m. on the 100 block of Locust Street. Responding officers found 11 people who had been shot and began coordinating emergency medical response efforts. Two victims later died from their injuries, while the remaining victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment, according to Yahoo !
