2 dead after boat crashes onto Lake Havasu shoreline

LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ (AZFamily) — Two people are dead after a boat flipped onto the Lake Havasu shoreline Saturday afternoon. Just after 7 p.m., first responders were called to the crash just north of Cattail Cove State Park on the Arizona side of Lake Havasu. When deputies arrived, they found a 2019 36-foot Douglas Marine catamaran overturned on land, according to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities found two people unresponsive near the boat. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
