2 dead in New Kent crash, vehicle fire
NEW KENT, Va. (WWBT) - Virginia State Police say two people are dead following a crash in New Kent early Friday morning. According to police, on September 17, officers responded to I-64 West at mile-marker 217 just after 1 a.m. A preliminary investigation shows that a 2023 GMC pickup truck overturned and caught fire. The driver and passenger both died at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
