PARKDALE, Ore. (KPTV) - Two people were killed after a small plane crash near an orchard in Hood River County on Monday, according to the sheriff’s office. The Hod River County Sheriff’s Office says deputies respond to reports of a possible plane crash at around 11:31 a.m. near Old Parkdale Road. After additional callers reported different locations for the crash in the upper Hood River valley, deputies found the crash site near an orchard on Trout Creek Ridge Road. The two passengers in the plane, identified as James Crain and Scott Perry of Hood River, were found dead at the scene. The FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash.
