2, including 16-year-old, arrested for fatal shooting at Denham Springs apartment

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) - Two people, including a juvenile, were taken into custody in connection with a July homicide that left one person dead in Livingston Parish. According to the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Tavorian Kennedy and a 16-year-old were arrested and booked for second-degree murder. Kennedy was booked into the Livingston Parish Detention Center, while the juvenile was booked into the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center. The fatal shooting took place on July 20 at the Parc Apartments north of Denham Springs. Deputies say the victim, identified as Patrick Panye, was coming out of his apartment and getting into his car to go to work when he was shot and killed.
