Two people died late Friday night in a fiery, wrong-way crash on Interstate 11 at the edge of northwest Las Vegas, police said. The crash happened at 11:28 p.m. on the northbound I-11, also known as U.S. Highway 95, at mile marker 99, the Nevada Highway Patrol said in a statement. The Highway Patrol said the crash involved an SUV and a sedan. The driver of the SUV was “traveling southbound in the northbound travel lanes” before striking the sedan, Highway Patrol spokesperson trooper Shawn Haggstrom said in an email.
