BERGOO, W.Va. (WBOY) — Two people were killed in a side-by-side crash in Webster County on Saturday evening. Information is limited at this time, but Webster County Sheriff Richard Clayton confirmed to 12 News that the accident was reported at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday evening in the Bergoo area near the Webster-Randolph county line, and that a man and a woman were killed in a side-by-side crash. The Webster County Sheriff's Office and the West Virginia State Police responded along with EMS. Details surrounding the circumstances of the crash, as well as the identities of those killed, have not been made public as of this publication. The incident remains under investigation.
