Two people were killed Sunday after a small plane crashed in the town of Enfield, New York, according to the Tompkins County Sheriff's Office . Deputies responded at about 12:35 p.m. 30 to the 100 block of North Applegate Road for a report of a plane crash. The Town of Enfield is a rural community in Tompkins County, west of Ithaca in New York's Finger Lakes region. The plane, a 1977 Lake model LA-4-200, had two occupants.

David Kornreich, 52, the owner of the plane, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sheriff's Office. No other people or structures were involved in the crash, according to the Sheriff's Office.
