2 NCCU students recovering after drive-by shooting near campus

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham Police are investigating a late-night shooting that injured two North Carolina Central University students. It happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday, Durham Police said. A man and a woman were walking in the vicinity of Concord and Dupree streets, not far from East Lawson Street, when someone fired shots from a passing car. Both students suffered what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital for treatment.
