ADELPHI, Md. — Two suspects have been charged in a deadly shooting in Adelphi , the Prince George’s County Police Department says. According to police, officers were called to the 2200 block of Lewisdale Drive, an unincorporated part of Maryland, around 4:15 a.m. on Sept. 6 for a report of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man who had been shot in the driver’s seat of his car. Despite life-saving measures, he died at the scene.

He is in the custody of the Prince George’s County Department of Corrections on a no-bond status. With the assistance of the PGPD’s Emergency Services Team, Homicide Unit detectives arrested Valladares Romero on Wednesday.
