SUFFOLK, Va. — Two Portsmouth teenagers are being held without bond after an August shooting in Suffolk. Suffolk police said they were called to the 5400 block of Plummer Boulevard, just off of Bridge Road, around 11:30 a.m. on August 1, after receiving a report of a shooting. They arrived on the scene to find a man with life-threatening injuries. The man was taken to the hospital, and he was able to recover and was released. Police said they arrested two Portsmouth teens in connection with the incident on Friday.

Gregory Pernell Wells, Jr., 18, was charged with accessory to aggravated malicious wounding, malicious wounding by mob, conspiracy of malicious wounding by mob and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
