2 teens injured in Akron shooting near Hartford Avenue
AKRON, Ohio — Two 15-year-old boys were injured in a shooting Thursday evening, according to the Akron Police Department. Akron police officers responded around 6:59 p.m. 17 to the 900 block of Hartford Avenue for a reported shooting, police said. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found two 15-year-old boys who had been shot. Police said they provided first aid to the victims until paramedics arrived at the scene.
