ATASCOCITA, Texas (KTRK) -- A 2-year-old died at the hospital after being found in a pool in Atascocita, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office. Constable Mark Herman said on social media that the incident was reported in the 19000 block of Pine Trace Court on Friday afternoon. According to deputies, emergency crews responded after the child was found in a swimming pool. West Lake Houston Parkway near FM 1960 was shut down to allow a Life Flight helicopter to land safely and take the child to the hospital, Herman said. This is a developing story.
