21-year-old motorcyclist killed in single vehicle crash on scenic highway near Huntsville

A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a single-vehicle crash while traveling on a scenic highway between Huntsville and Woodruff in northern Utah. The motorcyclist, who has only been identified as a woman from Hooper, was reportedly riding west on State Route 39 when she "failed to negotiate a curve" near milepost 38, roughly four miles east of the Monte Cristo overlook. Officials with the Utah Department of Public Safety said the motorcyclist went off the road toward the right and struck multiple trees. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
