EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a 22-year-old East Cleveland woman killed in a shooting early Sunday. Kayla Nicole Wells, 22, of East Cleveland, was found dead at a home at 1243 E. 6, according to the medical examiner’s office. Her death is being investigated as a suspected homicide. Cuyahoga County sheriff’s deputies and East Cleveland police responded to the home around 1:15 a.m. after a man called East Cleveland police and said he shot his daughter, according to the sheriff’s department spokeswoman, Jennifer Ciaccia.
