SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - Three people were taken to the hospital following a shooting in downtown Springfield, according to police. Springfield police said officers on duty heard gunshots around 2:15 a.m. near the Square on Park Central West. Officers found two people with gunshot wounds who were taken to the hospital. A third person was later taken to the hospital. Police believe that person is a victim of the same incident.
