3 injured in stabbing at Americas High School; suspect charged with aggravated assault

EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Three students were injured after a stabbing at Americas High School on Friday morning, according to the Socorro Independent School District. District officials said the incident happened as students arrived for class and involved multiple students around 8:30 a.m. near the baseball field of the school. Officials with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said three students were taken to the hospital for treatment of stab wounds. All three victims are in stable condition, officials said. Two of the victims have already been released from the hospital.
