WASHINGTON — Three men were shot near the U Street Corridor on Friday but police are still searching for the suspect. 18, around 12:53 a.m., officers responded to the 2400 block of 16th Street, NW, for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found three men suffering from gunshot wounds but were conscious and breathing. The victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. Police say that two men believed to be involved in the shooting fled the scene on a Lime scooter or bike.
