3 ways to ease congestion along I-71 in Strongsville area, with costs up to $109 million
Source Scout · Cleveland.com / The Plain Dealer reports: STRONGSVILLE, Ohio - Traffic planners have come up with three potential fixes to congestion problems along Interstate 71 through Strongsville and Brunswick, with costs ranging up to $109 million. These options include a potential upgrade of the existing interchange at Ohio 82 near SouthPark Mall, a new interchange at Drake Road just south of the mall in Strongsville and other local road improvements. Ruled out earlier this year was the decades-long idea of building a new interchange at Boston Road along the Strongsville/Brunswick border - an idea strongly opposed by many Brunswick residents.
