34-year-old woman charged in police chase death of Lynn, Indiana town marshal

RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. — A woman was charged Tuesday after a Randolph County town marshal was killed during a police chase in July. Maci Atkinson, 34, of Winchester, was charged Sept. 8 with the following counts, according to online court records: Lynn Town Marshal Brad Fisher was killed July 29, 2026, while putting out stop sticks at U.S. 27, near the town of Lynn. Police say the driver of a stolen van they were chasing, Atkinson, was wanted on several drug warrants.
