4 dead, child critical after Houma stabbings, sheriff says

HOUMA, La. (WVUE) - The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office has named a person of interest in a series of stabbings in the Ashland Drive area of Houma that left four people dead, the Sheriff’s Office said. The Sheriff’s Office identified the person of interest as Kaegan Jude Solet, 47, of Houma. Deputies first went to the 200 block of Ashland Drive, where they found a child with stab wounds, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said. The child was flown by Acadian Ambulance Service Air Med to a hospital outside the area and remains in critical condition, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said. As deputies kept investigating, they found several dead victims inside nearby homes.
