A mom is in critical condition and her 10-year-old son and two male relatives are injured after being shot at a home on Detroit's east side on Friday, Aug. 22, according to police. Just before 6 p.m., an unknown vehicle pulled up to the home in the 3700 block of Haverhill Street and shots were fired, Detroit Police Department Assistant Chief Kari Sloan said at a news conference streamed by local TV stations Friday evening . Sloan said some people live at the home, but wasn't sure as of Friday evening which of the victims, if any, live there. A weapon was recovered on the scene, Sloan said.
