MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- Four people were injured Sunday morning after multiple vehicles collided in Wheaton, prompting traffic delays. In a post on the X platform just after 9 a.m., the Montgomery County Department of Police said the crash involved four vehicles near Georgia Avenue and Reedie Drive. This is near the Wheaton Metro station by the Westfield Wheaton mall. Police noted that EMS crews transported four adults to nearby hospitals, where they are expected to be OK. As a result of the collision, officers temporarily closed southbound Georgia Avenue at Reedie Drive.
