4 killed in rollover crash along Angeles Crest Highway near Wrightwood

WRIGHTWOOD, Calif. (KABC) -- Four people were killed and two others injured when a car veered off a mountain road and crashed near Wrightwood. The crash was reported just before 1:30 a.m. Friday on Highway 2 between Big Pines and Wrightwood, according to the California Highway Patrol. Investigators say six people were in the 2016 Hyundai Veloster when the driver veered off the road. "For unknown reasons, the vehicle swerved away from the roadway, struck a telephone pole and rolled down an embankment. At that time, four parties were ejected from the vehicle," CHP Officer Thaniel Ong said.
