CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) -- Six dogs are in custody following an attack that left four people injured Wednesday. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control (ACC), along with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and Charlotte Fire Department, responded Wednesday morning around 9:47 a.m. to a serious dog attack near the intersection of Claiborne Woods and Woodcock Lane in Charlotte. Deputies say while conducting an eviction in the neighborhood, Deputy Takaryl Bolton encountered a woman being attacked by a pack of dogs. The ACC says seven dogs, described as pit bull-type dogs, were involved in the incident. Preliminary information indicates that the woman was outside her home when the seven dogs entered her yard and began attacking her.
