Latest update from Direct local · WTOP: 1 killed, 3 wounded in Northeast DC shooting, police say. One man has died and three others were wounded following a shooting in Northeast Friday afternoon, D.C. police say. The shooting happened in the 6200 block of Dix Street, near the border with Maryland, at about 1:45 p.m. When officers arrived, one of the men wasn’t breathing and the other three were conscious. All four were taken to the hospital, one by helicopter and the other three by D.C. One man died at the hospital, according to an update from police.
