48-year-old father of 3 and full-time pastor makes college football debut

A 48-year-old pastor from California recently made his college football debut with the San Jose City College Jaguars . It had been 30 years since Justin Buzzard last played football. He career was derailed by injuries, including a torn finger tendon, after just one year redshirting at Whitworth University, in Spokane, Washington, according to The Athletic . After seeing a video of a 60-year-old cancer survivor who was trying to play football at a Division III school, Buzzard sent the video to his sons and one wrote back telling him he should give that a shot. One thing led to another and Buzzard reached out to the coaches as San Jose City College to see if they could use another player on the defensive side.
