NEWBERRY, S.C. ( WIS /Gray News) - Five people were arrested in connection with the death of a 5-year-old girl in South Carolina, authorities said. Newberry Police Chief Kevin Goodman said 5-year-old Aniyah Williams was unresponsive and taken to the hospital by a family member on Aug. She was pronounced dead the same day. Five people were arrested roughly a month later. Ebony Davis, Jamarion Sligh, Mantrevis Sligh and Isis Gary were charged with murder/homicide by child abuse, aiding and abetting, officials said.
