5 dead, 5 injured after Amazon cargo planes goes off Miami International Airport runway

One person was found dead Monday morning after a fire engulfed a third-floor apartment in northwest Miami-Dade County, authorities said. Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the apartment fire near Northwest 14th Avenue and Northwest 103rd Street at approximately 6:30 a.m. According to MDSO, deputies arrived to find the third-floor apartment fully engulfed in flames. Deputies immediately began evacuating residents from both the east and west sides of the building. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews also responded and extinguished the fire.
