5-year-old girl dies after accidentally shooting herself with gun, Fort Worth police say

According to FWPD, officers were called at about 7:45 p.m. to the incident at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of Revolutionary Way. Upon arrival, officers and Fort Worth Fire Department personnel began providing medical aid to the girl, who had an apparent gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
