The grandfather of a six-year-old stabbing victim announced the boy is speaking, and recovering at "superhuman" speed. Craig Dykes spoke Saturday, Sept. 19, on Houma's Herofest stage to thank law enforcement for their help in saving his grandson from a brutal stabbing spree that left four others dead. "He had punctures to his kidney and his liver, and he received a blow to the back of the neck that he suffered an aneurysm," Dykes said. The boy had been stabbed a dozen times, struck so hard he had an aneurism, strangled, and had his throat slit, according to Dykes. The boy did not give up.
