Tuscaloosa police said officers were called to the 2600 block of 22nd Street at 10:48 p.m. after reports that multiple people had been shot. Officers found a large crowd and began providing medical aid before Tuscaloosa Fire and Rescue and NorthStar EMS arrived, police said. The shooting happened in an area where an outdoor neighborhood block party had been held earlier Saturday.
